Chinese ladies who want western men are still single (or go from 'in a relationship' to 'single') because (generally) western men in Shanghai either: a) leave Shanghai b) want casual relationships with multiple women.
I advise most of my Chinese female friends who are into western men (and are looking for a westerner to marry) to forget them and find a Chinese man.
